That’s why our work moves beyond the stage. A percentage of every production’s revenue is directed to sister organizations on the frontlines of education, healthcare, legal protection, and economic empowerment for women and girls.
And our theatre-based education programs & ensembles build leadership, strengthen civic engagement, and put agency in the hands of women and girls.
We believe art is not separate from activism. It is fuel for it.
Moving resources, visibility, and creative power to women and girls is not generosity.
It is justice.
This is where power intentionally changes hands.

The Stockbridge-Munsee Band of the Mohicans Family Services Department is dedicated to strengthening, healing, and supporting tribal families providing vital advocacy, crisis intervention, and stabilizing services to promote safety, self-sufficiency, and emotional well-being within the Stockbridge-Munsee Community.

Elizabeth Freeman Center offers hope, help, and healing to people experiencing or affected by domestic and sexual violence through free, accessible, confidential services. Its work includes community mobilization, advocacy, education, and working to end the cycle of violence and oppression.

In keeping with WAM Theatre’s mission, we are thrilled to announce that $2500 raised from tickets to Cadillac Crew were donated to Arise for Social Justice to defend and advance the rights of poor people and FairFight to promotes fair elections around the country.
In keeping with WAM Theatre’s mission, we are thrilled to announce that $1,850 raised from tickets to Kamloopa will be given to the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of the Mohicans Family Services Center for their healing work with women in the community. This brings WAM’s donation total since its founding in 2010 to more than $80,000 to 23 recipients.
In keeping with WAM’s double philanthropic mission, we donated $1,500 each from the proceeds from ROE to the Abortion Rights Fund of Western Massachusetts (ARFWM), Railroad Street Youth Project, and SisterSong. Theses are our 20th, 21st and 22nd recipients.
